The program included representatives of GIZ national office in Vietnam, agencies under MONRE (Institute of ISPONRE, Department of Biodiversity Conservation, General Department of Land), National University, ECODE and Representatives of EbA-GIZ projects and the local Agriculture Project (CSA) such as Ha Tinh Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Agricultural Extension Center, Farmer Association, Island Sub-department, etc. and leaders of communes and villages are the pilot sites of the projects.
Within the framework of the program, participants were given the opportunity to visit the Eco-Climate Change Adaptation (EbA) models and approaches, typically the EbA model in the village. 1, Son Tho commune, Vu Quang district; or ICRAF Climate Change adaptive agriculture model in My Loi Village, Ky Anh Commune, Ky Son District.
On 10/10, after the field trip, delegates continued to participate in the discussion on sharing experiences in deploying EbA solutions and smart villages adapt to climate change, opportunities for cooperation and multiplication in Ha Tinh . The main content of the seminar is to introduce EbA projects being implemented such as Climate Change Adaptation Village (CSA); Pro-poor Sustainable Rural Development and Water Resources Management and Urban Development in Ha Tinh Province; or the Vietnam Support to the Implementation of the Paris Climate Change Agreement. “In addition, national and international delegates have the opportunity to discuss, present and discuss planning issues.
